take control of

As human beings we're hard-wired to be in charge of ourselves and our environment. Some of us just take longer than others to learn the distinction between ridding ourselves of symptoms and getting to their source. If we think we don't have control of our lives because we see our obstacles as insurmountable, we stay where we are -- and our problems are guaranteed to become steady companions.

stop worring

As you get older, it is all too easy to get in a rut  with fixed viewpoints, stuck emotions, ways of being that others can see clearly but you just think are 'right'.

You need to stop worrying and start living, not just to be happy but for health reasons too. Feeling good is not just a luxury, it is a vital necessity for good health and long life. There is scientific research that supports this. In 1973, Dr Ronald Grossarth-Maticek undertook an experiment on more than 3000 elderly Germans. He measured how often they felt pleasure. In 1994 he followed up and found that those with the highest scores were 30 times more likely to be alive and well than those with low scores.

Your Greatest Self.

If no one has ever told you...you are SPECIAL ...you are . You are a being so miraculous in "potential power" that YOU could possibly change the world! Many have done it: Jesus, Moses, Buddha, Mother Teresa, Gandhi, Martin Luther King, Nelson Mandela, Carl Jung, Abraham Lincoln, Socrates, Aristotle, and Albert Einstein. I could name quite a few more as our world would not be what it is today without their dreams and aspirations being a part of it.  Some may think that these examples are "special" people...well I agree! What made them stand out from the billions of other people was their POWER WITHIN. This power is you being your GREATEST SELF!  We all have "it", but sometimes it gets buried so deep down during the tribulations of life, that we no longer can feel it. NOW is the time to TAP into that SOURCE!

What makes you happy?Write down a list of things that make you excited, however big, small, likely or unlikely. Then work to make them occur more often. And appreciate the good things you take for granted - your child's hug or a good book. Look for moments of joy and savour them. recognize how many happen every day. Feeling good can be a way of life, not just an occasional accident.

Coach Carolyn Valdivia

My life coaching experience with Carolyn has not only helped me to achieve goals, but more importantly, it has enabled me to discover who I am, what makes me tick, and what those goals really are. She has the gift of being able to find the hidden treasures that allow me to achieve those goals.

B.R., Sales

Over the past year Carolyn has been coaching me through some very big transitions in my life and I could not have navigated through these changes with as much honesty and grace without her help. Her coaching skills helped me identify and focus on the most important aspects of this change and face the fears that have hindered me so much in the past.

Samantha DeLouie

Life coaching has helped me to identify issues that have stood in the way of business success and assisted me in developing techniques for working around or through these issues. As someone who has gone through substantial change in my professional career over the past couple of years, I count on coaching to ensure that this transition continues to go smoothly.

Daniel Hoffman

Life coaching has given me the ability to focus on something concrete and see it evolve. Whether it's a challenge that I wasn't able to work through in years past or a new endeavor that will affect my personal or business growth, I can look forward to having Carolyn there to guide me towards reaching that place of peace and satisfaction. It reminds me of a saying that I have seen: I don't know what the future holds but I know who holds the future.

Deb Goldman

It helped me most to have someone in my corner, encouraging me, pointing out the negative talk in my head and the ways in which I sabotage myself. Now I have a dialogue with my self and push through the negative talk…
