Life Coach Professional Background
I come with an interesting mix of talents, having had a successful career in Advanced Prototype Engineering, working with such notables as Chrysler Motor Corporation, McDonnell Douglas Corporation, and the Department of Defense (DOD), my engineering career spanned over 15 years. I left engineering after a short stay in Egypt in 1997 and found that I need to devote my time not to machines but people.
After arriving back in the states I set on working for the greater good, as a teacher, writer, and coach. I have held such positions as Engineering Instructor, Grant Writer, Director of Development, Executive Director, Team Mentor/Coach and Foundation CEO.
My work life has been interesting, with so many career transistions it was a natural fit to go into coaching full time, as a professional life, career, and small business coach who has spent 20 + years helping professionals to create success that's balanced.
I feel fortunate to have found my calling as a coach and am passionate about making a difference in other peoples' lives.

She is a great listener. I really feel heard, and that has been key to my trusting the coaching process. And she has fantastic, creative ideas that I've found eye-opening, simple and practical. I've been surprised to find myself, after every session, muttering, "Well, that was worth the time!" It's amazing to me, looking back at the process, how someone could help me cut through the brambles to be able to visualize some key goals. In retrospect, my next steps were obvious and the natural outgrowth of years of previous contemplation and experience. But they weren't obvious to me before I started working with Carolyn. It's also amazing how making some undramatic (I didn't need to move, quit my job, or leave my family), but substantial, additions to my life are making such a big difference in how I feel about myself and how much more satisfied I feel with the direction my life is taking.
